Meet Nancy Cavazos

Nancy is the youngest of six children. She has helped care for babies since the young age of 12. Once she became a Mom, she sought out other experienced Moms for their guidance. She researched and visited many family-friendly establishments and compiled a list of the Best Quality Businesses throughout the Rio Grande Valley. After several years she found that her list of resources was vast and shared her findings with other Moms that asked for recommendations. After several years she realized there was a need for what she was doing and thus Blissful Baby was born in 2011 in the Rio Grande Valley.

Today, Nancy Cavazos is the CEO/Founder of Blissful Baby® Consultants, LLC. She is a Maternity Concierge who is Child/Infant CPR and First Aid Certified, a Child Passenger Safety Technician, a Birth Doula, a Postpartum Doula, a Lactation Coach, a Certified Greenproofer & Eco-Maternity Educator through International Maternity Institute, Certified Childbirth Educator through CAPPA, Trained in Dr. Karps "Happiest Baby" method, Trained by Polly Perez in Rebozo and Trained at The Farm Midwifery Center 7 day intensive for Midwifery Assistant. She is pursuing a BA in film and tv. Nancy is a member of the International Maternity Institute (IMI), CAPPA, International Association of Child Safety, and RGV Car Seat Coalition. She is an advocate for March of Dimes, a Girl Scout Troop Volunteer, and the founder of RGV Green Coalition. Nancy has a financial history of over 20 years and handles accounting for 3 companies. She has been a Host for RGV's "Big Latch On", Network Chapter Leader for ImprovingBirth.org-RGV, Host for RGV's Great Cloth Diaper Change, and Founder of RGV's BIG Baby Shower & Expo. She has access to all the Birthing Centers in the Rio Grande Valley, knowledge of the newest baby products before they hit the market, and first-hand knowledge of how to be a loving mom.

There is no question in her mind about the sacrifices it takes to be a hands-on Mom and still want to do so much for others! She enjoys traveling, random dancing with her children, pilates, gardening, reading books, live concerts, and movies in her downtime. Nancy Cavazos lives in the RGV and San Antonio with her husband Dr. Cavazos of twenty-one years, their two beautiful children, and four fur babies.
